Who am I ?
French Teacher, Communication Specialist, and Structured Learning Strategist
Hello, I’m Zoé.
I am a certified French teacher and communication professional with over six years of experience teaching French online to students around the world.
Over the years, I have helped more than 200 learners — from complete beginners to advanced C1 students — develop confident, structured and lasting French skills.
My students include professionals working with French clients, IB and exam students, children, and motivated adults building their path to fluency.
My Background
I graduated from the University of Grenoble with a specialisation in teaching young learners (5–10 years old).
Before dedicating myself fully to teaching, I worked as a chef and communications manager in the hospitality industry. This experience deeply shaped my approach to language learning:
Precision matters.
Structure creates confidence.
Communication is more than grammar — it’s cultural understanding.
Today, I combine pedagogical expertise with real-world communication experience to design practical, personalised online French lessons.
My Teaching Philosophy
I don’t believe in random exercises or passive learning. I believe in:
Clear structure
Measurable progress
Active speaking practice
Cultural understanding
Long-term fluency
Learning should be fun
Whether you are preparing a business presentation, an IB oral exam, relocating to France, or simply building confidence in conversation, your lessons are tailored to your goals and learning style.
Each student follows a personalised path to fluency.
Who I Work With
I work particularly with:
• Professionals who need French for work, interviews, presentations and client communication
• Teenagers preparing exams (IB, GCSE, DELF)
• Children in bilingual or long-term learning pathways
• Advanced learners refining fluency and precision
• Students who need structure and confidence to unlock their potential
I also adapt lessons for learners with ADHD, dyslexia or learning differences, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
Beyond Grammar
Learning French is not just about conjugations. It is about understanding how French people think, communicate and structure ideas.
As I am also a lesson conceptor, therefore I build my lessons around :
Business communication
Cultural references (politics, pop culture, history, …)
Current affairs
Public speaking
Academic writing
Real-life scenarios
Because fluency is built through context, not memorisation.

Why Students Choose to Work With Me
My students often say they appreciate:
My preparation and organisation
My patience and clarity
The diversity of topics
The balance between structure and flexibility
The real progress they see over time
For many, French stops being a source of stress, and becomes a tool they can use confidently.
